WHo we ARE
AU Challenge is a ground-breaking cross-disciplinary case competition for AU-students. AU Challenge is organised by both employees and a group of volunteers who strive to create a great and inclusive challenge. AU Challenge was held for the first time in the spring of 2018 with 43 students from all AU-faculties and one company participating. In November 2019, AU Challenge will be held again in a much bigger version with 200 students and 3 companies. The goal is to unite students from all parts of Aarhus University and to create an inspiring challenge, which accommodates collaboration, innovative thinking, connecting students with companies.
what we do
AU Challenge invites all Danish as well as international 3rd, 4th and 5th-year students at Aarhus University to participate in a case competition. No prior experience is needed. The participants will be presented to an exclusive series of workshops, providing them with case solving and presentation skills. Participants will also get a personal profile analysis, as well as a team profile. AU Challenge seeks to facilitate a change for students and companies to form a relationship, learn from each other and for students to develop their competencies. AU Challenge will provide a broad range of learning experiences for the participants including the change to improve their network and professional skills. The United Nations Sustainable Development Goals are at the core of each case, which participants are asked to solve, and students thereby are not only part of AU Challenge, but also contribute to solving the much bigger goal of making the world a better place for future generations.
